Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid works as a lubricant for the joints. It is the basic component of the fluid that fills the space between the cartilage in the joints; synovial fluid. Thanks to its viscoelastic properties it reduces friction, avoids deterioration of cartilage and facilitates joint mobility. It is considered to be a chondroprotector due to its beneficial effects against osteoarthritis and other cases of joint deterioration. Its use is extensive both in humans and animals.
