Omega-3 fatty acids/DHA

Omega-3 fatty acids are a type of lipids with anti-inflammatory properties, which is why they are particularly recommended for animals who are suffering from inflammatory conditions such as osteoarthritis, atopic dermatitis, allergies and even diarrhoea that are identified by inflammation. The most highly active Omega-3 fatty acids are DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid), which are obtained from fish and other marine sources. In addition, DHA is the brain’s main fatty acid.
