Omega-6 fatty acids

Omega-6 fatty acids are essential for the structure of cell membranes. They are all derived from linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid found in some vegetable oils. Among their properties, Omega-6 fatty acids help to bond the cells of the epidermis, improving the skin’s protective barrier by reducing the loss of transdermal water which causes dryness. This promotes healthy skin and a shiny, lustrous coat.
